With a degree in architecture and more than two decades at SALA, Morgan brings a unique perspective to the people, projects, and day-to-day life of the office. Her architectural background gives her an appreciation for thoughtful residential design, while her experience in photography has shaped an equally strong eye for composition, detail, and the way spaces are experienced. She is especially drawn to the details that make a home both beautiful and genuinely livable.
As SALA’s Office Manager since 2004, Morgan works behind the scenes to keep the many moving pieces of the office moving in the same direction. Her role has evolved alongside the firm, giving her a broad understanding of SALA’s practice, history, culture, and people. Organized by nature and curious by default, she enjoys creating systems, solving problems, and finding ways to make things work a little more smoothly. More than anything, she values being part of a collaborative studio where good ideas, thoughtful details, and strong relationships matter.
Outside of SALA, photography continues to be an important creative outlet, along with an interest in preserving family photographs and the history they hold. She is equally happy being active outdoors, whether downhill skiing, playing pickleball, or heading out on a road trip. She also loves lists, games, creative projects, and finding a good excuse for a cup of hot chocolate.
