Genna Bartingale

Associate

When I see architecture that moves me, I hear music in my inner ear.”

— Frank Lloyd Wright

Credentials

  • Associate AIA Member

Education

  • Master of Architecture, University of Minnesota
  • Bachelor of Environmental Design, University of Colorado, Boulder

With a mindset that everything is interconnected, Genna’s goal is to unite architecture with site, and design for both human and non-human users. She enjoys learning the day-to-day patterns of clients and thinking about an integrated approach to architecture.

Genna grew up in Stillwater, MN, with an appreciation for the historic buildings and all four seasons. She enjoys incorporating a seasonal perspective into design, particularly in creating architecture that adapts to different times of the year. Her experience at the University of Colorado Boulder enriched her ability to consider projects holistically. During her time there, she worked with Growing Up Boulder, an initiative that engages children in city planning and vision development. When Genna’s not working, you can find her at her family’s cottage, cycling, running with her dog, baking, or knitting her next Scandinavian-patterned sweater.
